The wellness and spa industry will also be present at the 9th Swimming Pool International Fair in Barcelona. Companies related with wellness and personal care will be exhibiting. October 20th - 23rd, at Recinto de Gran Vía.
The personal-care-related tourism has reached a peak during the last few years, leading to the opening or the reopening of thermal centers, thalassotherapy centers and spa hotels. According to a DBK report, the thermal springs and the rest of the establishments intended for wellness, health and beauty tourism generate altogether more than 3.22 billion euros.
This growth in wellness and spa is reflected in the nearly 840 wellness establishments existing in Spain. Nearly 670 of them are resorts and hotels with spa or thalassotherapy (in both cases, places where you can spend the night) and almost 170 are resorts or urban spas (without lodging).
Relaxation will also have its place at the Swimming Pool International Fair.
The aim is to share knowledge and establish a forum for debate in the sector of sports and recreational facilities.
